You must be logged in with a DSB Plus profile to purchase a Commuter Card. Name and age are retrieved from the profile. It is not possible to create a profile if you are under 12 years old.

When traveling with your Commuter Card, you must be able to show identification with your full name upon request (health insurance card, student ID, driver's license, or passport).

You can also buy a Commuter Card for DSB 1' (first class). The additional cost depends on whether you travel by InterCity or regional trains. Read more about services on DSB 1. If you are traveling with InterCity, you can find the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's smiley reports here.

1.1.1     Metro Supplement for Commuter Card

If your Commuter Card needs to be valid in the metro, you must pay a metro supplement. If you choose to pay the supplement, your Commuter Card is valid for bus, train, and metro travel. If you have opted out of the metro supplement and find that you need to travel by metro, you can buy a ticket extension.

1.2     Transfer of Commuter card

It is possible to log in with your DSB Plus profile on a new device and thus transfer your Commuter Card up to five times within the validity period.

1.3     Refund

If you wish to get a refund for your Commuter Card, an amount corresponding to the value of eight days will be deducted from the unused validity period. Until the first day of validity, the full amount will be refunded.

2.     Youth Card

A Youth Card is personal.

If you are between 16 and 19 years old or enrolled in a youth educational programme/higher educational programme that entitles you to receive the Danish State Educational Grant, you can apply for a Youth Card at mitungdomskort.dk.

You must have a DSB Plus profile to be able to download your Youth Card. The email address you used when ordering your Youth Card must be the same as in your DSB Plus profile.

When traveling with your Youth Card, you must be able to show identification with your full name upon request (health insurance card, student ID, driver's license, or passport).

2.1     Transfer of Youth card

It is possible to log in with your DSB Plus profile on a new device and thus transfer your Youth Card up to five times within the validity period.

3.     Öresund Card

3.1     Validity

An Öresund Card is personal. The Öresund Card is valid for unlimited travel between the Capital Region (Zone 1-99) and Southern Sweden (Skåne County) for a period of 30-60 days.

You must be logged in with a DSB Plus profile to purchase Öresund Card. Name and age are retrieved from the profile. It is not possible to create a profile if you are under 12 years old.

When traveling with your Öresund Card, you must be able to show identification with your full name upon request (health insurance card, student ID, driver's license, or passport).

You can also purchase an Öresund Card for DSB 1' (first class). The additional cost depends on whether you travel by InterCity or Regional trains. Read more about services on DSB 1. 3.2     Transfer of Öresund Card

4.     Commute20

4.1     Validity

A Commute20 card is personal.

Commute 20 is a test that has been extended and will continue into 2025. Cards purchased during the test period can be used throughout the validity period of the product.

A Commute20 card provides access to 20 travel days within a validity period of 60 consecutive days. On an activated travel day, you can travel freely in the specific zones that your Pendler20 card is valid for. A travel day must be activated before boarding and is valid until 03:59 AM. You activate a travel day in the DSB's app.

You must be logged in with a DSB Plus profile to purchase Commute20 card. Name and age are retrieved from the profile.

When traveling with your Commute20 card, you must be able to show identification with your full name upon request (health insurance card, student ID, driver's license, or passport).

You can also purchase Commute20 card for DSB 1' (first class). The additional cost depends on whether you travel by InterCity or Regional trains. Read more about services on DSB 1. If you are traveling with InterCity, you can find the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's smiley reports here.

4.1.1     Metro supplement for Commute20

You must pay a metro supplement if your Commute20 card is to be valid in the metro. If you choose to pay the supplement, your Pendler20 card is valid for bus, train, and metro on activated travel days. If you have opted out of the metro supplement and find that you need to travel by metro, you can buy a ticket extension for that journey.

4.2     Refund

Refunds only cover the entire Commute20 card. It is not possible to refund or transfer a single travel day.

Until the first day of validity of the 60 days, the Commute20 card can be fully refunded. If you wish to get a refund for a Commute20 card where the 60-day validity period has not yet started, you can get it fully refunded directly in the DSB's app. From the first day of validity, an amount corresponding to the value of five travel days will be deducted from any unused travel days upon refunding. Therefore, on a valid Pendler20 card with ten remaining travel days, it would be possible to refund the value of five travel days. Refunds can only occur before expiration of the Pendler20 card's 60-day validity period. After completion of this period, there is no refund available.

4.3     Services

Commute20 is not covered by DSB Commuter travel time guarantee. However, you can apply for DSB Basic travel time guarantee if you are delayed more than 30 minutes.

Commute20 is included in the DSB Plus Forgotten card service if you have a DSB Plus profile. The service only applies to DSB trains and only for an activated travel day.

You have the option to purchase a Commuter Seat Reservation on your activated travel days on your Commute20 card if you commute by train where seat reservation is possible. Read more about the product under Commuter Seat Reservation.

If your phone needs repair, you can log in on a new phone and retrieve your Commute20 card. You can only transfer your product 5 times within the 60 days.
